    I watched it and tried their techniques, but it felt ultra unnatural for me so I didn't continue

    I found the Pye Jisra's SLR Lounge Lighting 101 to be useful, but not because of the lighting tips. I felt like that I understood speedlights pretty well already by the time I watched the course, but it made me think in different ways, i.e. forced me to use things outside of my normal process, and that led me to adopt new approaches
