Starting from July we now have a "Store" tab.
Here you can spend your Trophy Points to purchase Contributor Memberships.
Trophy Points are received when you gather a certain amount of likes.
The likes you gathered until now are valid.
You can check how many Trophy Points you have on Your Profile Page.
The Contributor Membership is the same thing as a Gold Membership except the name (internal purpose).

 

Click on the Store and convert your points

I realize this is an older post - but yes, it's worth watching: 1.5 hr video where the author actually explains his choice of selective retouching and offers concise instruction and rationale for specific steps in the edit. Starts with a naturally lit image (PSD included) where base image is shot using good basic gear that's affordable (not the most expensive with lowest stop lens; etc). English-spoken and at a reasonable pace - especially for beginning retoucher-minded peeps . . .
