Delete your Mirror. I was NOT notified at all that my link had expired. i ALWAYS post a NEW working link within 24 hours after being notified. This is RUDE. My post has already been Fixed....only took 1.5 hours for me to fix it.

You can chill the hell out. If you read the rules, you can see that I followed them perfectly. Reported the post (and even added a comment, I might add), and the later just added my comment to provide a mirror. I'll happily delete my mirror, but there was nothing "rude" about it.

 

My post was not marked DEAD...
"The thread will be marked as [Dead] and the OP will be notified (direct notification with a mention of his name with @). Someone else can post a mirror right away"

 

I simply read that as once a report is made, a mirror can be added immediately unless/until such time that the OP refreshes their link and requests deletion. There are hundreds of dead posts - that have been dead for years - all over this forum that aren't marked dead.

Regardless, I deleted my mirrors, as requested. I wasn't trying to steal your thunder, just merely helping out.

 

I say if you let your post go dead, then you lose ownership. No time for the back-and-forth. It's a graveyard out there. But I don't make the rules either, so whatever.
