    Thanks so much for the Duchemin material. He is an excellent writer as well as teacher - a little more cerebral than the average educator out there but really does move the peg forward with regard to the profession. All his material as well as various Craft & Vision items should resonate well with those on this site - - - an excellent share - - - most appreciated! Should you be in need of a re-subscription for a month or so (of Gold) - just drop me a PM and it's yours . . . ;):cool:


    . . . I believe that he has recently lost his leg; amputee. His resiliency is noteworthy (if one is familiar with his blog) - the cat has faced some crazy (and unfortunate) moments that he's openly shared on his site . . .

    Oh darn. I did not know of his amputation. He has been a great resource in much of my photography journey. I've bough almost all of his books and many of his ebooks from his old Craft&Vision store.

    Thank you for the very kind offer! Much appreciated, really.
    I also find his weekly newsletter/blog entries very inspiring/thougtful/make you think.... Should be able to provide two more courses from the last years. Yes he lost his leg and I think it was chasing after a super photography position and then fell. Couldn't believe when I read it and it has been really touching as he radiates a lot of kindness and thoughtfulness.

    Agree - I've also bought the bulk of his material and monographs as well - no problem paying cash for quality material - - - very much appreciate all the outliers being filled by @mr.c ;)

    I'll try post my thoughts on The Compelling Frame once I've gone through all the material in detail hopefully by next month.

    I caught up with his blog posts after a long time and noticed that the Amputation was a long postponed issue from his Accident in Italy a decade ago. That accident if I remember correctly, is from trying to find a good position on a wall, ending up in a life threatening fall. Talk about dedication to Photography!

    @mr.c - Has the course changed over time? The free video he has on the website for example wasn't on your list of videos. And the numbering appears different. Could you double check? I'm just curious to know if perhaps newer videos have been added to the course more recently.
