1. After you install the program on you mac, run terminal (cmd + spacebar......search terminal).

2. copy and paste the .rtf text into terminal:

3. Enter your password (your macbook password you use to login to your computer) into terminal. Heads up, it wont show the password as you type it in but it's there. Hit enter.

I did exactly as you wrote, unfortunately, the plugin did not activate for me. What version of Davinci do you have?

I'm running 18. Make sure you have Davinci closed when you do the installation. Try it all again.

DaVinci was closed, and it turns out I have version 19, so that might be the issue. Thanks so much for helping me out!

It should work for either. I guess the last thing to try is a computer reboot to see if that works.

I'll try updating to 19 later to see if I can get it to work.

I haven't tried rebooting. I'll try it in the morning. I'm already going to bed

As I expected, rebooting did not help. I have no more ideas. I'm absolutely sure that I'm doing everything right but for some reason it doesn't work in my case
