BBC Maestro: An Introduction to Photography by Rankin

Rankin is undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest photographers.

Over the last 30+ years of his career, Rankin has photographed some of the most recognisable celebrities and public figures, including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Kate Moss, and The Queen, to name but a few.

His work has featured not only on the glossy pages of Vogue, GQ, and Rolling Stone, but also on the walls of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the MoMA in New York.

In his BBC Maestro course, for the very first time, Rankin will be breaking down his craft into digestible lessons covering everything from the basics of camera types, different lenses, and lighting options, all the way through to interacting with talent, promoting yourself and networking, and being entrepreneurial in your approach.
