Is this 'nulled', cracked or any thing like that? I wouldn't trust to install anything like that, and I'd suggest to avoid installing any cracked program. Who knows if it has some malware, virus or whatever. It wouldn't be the first time that your files gets encrypted and they ask you to pay to unencrypt them, or if it has some key logger or something that could record your services/websites user and passwords

 

I suggest you buy a Macintosh and not worry too much about things like that....LOL, Been using "pirated" stuff for over 25 years and NEVER had anything like that happen to me on Apple..

Well, I don't doubt your post is with the best intention nor about the wonders of Macintosh, but I have some thoughts on your message: first, this topic is for a Windows version of Film Impact, so I'd say talking about Mac is a bit out of scope. Also, the fact that something pirated has been working without any issue doesn't mean there's no virus/malware. I mean, if I were to 'attack' someone using something I have cracked and I'm not getting any money from people who's downloading it it's quite likely that I have an ulterior interest and I'd try not to make it discoverable at all. For example, If I can log your information for as long as possible there's quite a big chance to get very important information about you, such as bank accounts/investment logins, personal email, sensitive information that I can use against you, etc... I'm glad that you are not having any issues and I hope nothing like that ever happens to you, but not having any issues (pirated software wise) is not an indicative that you haven't been attacked.
