Composition and storytelling are a two part course series created to form a comprehensive learning experience.
Composition gives you the tools to know how to frame an image in an emotionally captivating way while storytelling is your unique take on what you see, who you are interacting with, and what you ultimately create.
These courses are intentionally broken apart to compartmentalize the technical and creative sides of photography. This allows you to take the time to learn and practice each set of skills individually before ultimately combining them in your work.

Thanks for the upload, going through it right now.
There are several things I can point out. The composition part has some value to it, but its definitely basic stuff. Regarding storytelling I got really frustrated because she showcases some awesome location with a couple that is super emotional and says "See, I didn't pose them one time in that shoot"...like this is some sort of approach that can be applied to everyone. Most of my couples don't go on a journey just to do stuff, they don't go picking flowers or start to dance spontaniously in the middle of nowhere, they need direction and she doesn't adress that part at all... Katch Silva's course adresses this waaay better than Anni.
PS. Definitely can get inspired by her work tho

I agree. I was very underwhelmed by both this and her editing course - boo, I had really high hopes for both. Will have to check out Katch's course! Thanks for adding that in there.

Firstly - thanks for the share. This forum is a testament to the value and ultimate benefit reflected by its available shares! Sure - you have to afford the time to invest to actually watch these tutorials - at nominal cost; and therein lie the benefits.

So yes - the course is basic in nature with a Bohemian glamping backdrop (albeit inclusive of an occasional taste of reality - like when Joey six-pack was torquing down the propane tanks on the compressed composition) with the requisite non-identified drink-items displayed upon the Ikea table . . . actually - that table looks a bit beefier - might have been sourced from one of the locals . . .

. . . this should not take away from the fact that this young lady can compose some very good shots . . .her work is beautiful!

This reminds me of a factual story paralleling a time when "Fred" was jamming with a local great guitarist named "Ed". The gig took a break and "Fred" asked "Ed" if he could comp on his rig. "Sure," stated "Ed." Much to the surprise of no-one, "Fred" did not sound like "Ed" - although he was fingering the same chords. So "Fred" asked "Ed" - why does it sound so different when you play? "Ed" just smiled and said: "It's in the hands, kid. It's in the hands." And of course - "Practice"

These workshops can be very expensive . . .
I pretty-much usually get something out of anything I watch - but make no mistake: Value does not scale with cost . . .
