Retouch4me (WIN) Plug-in (Compatible with PTS 2025 without red background)

still showing red layer.. in my photoshop 2025.. i didnt block internet to photoshop.. though... anyone have any advise?

 

Did you uninstall the current version completely? I am still using it without any issues, and I am using almost the latest version of PS. Make sure you dont install the newer version

 

your version doesn't show red layer doesn't mean others won't!

 

try in another day, then remove (both from registry and install path) and reinstall

I also encountered the same case as you, and tried this way (although it sounds funny), it worked!

 

i deleted all the files of retouch4me from both registry and install path.. and re installed your version... bt didnt work..

 

oke looking forward to try it another day.. @Jayce can u send me the version of urs in this comment.. i really need to retouch a bunch of file with automation.. and facing huge problem.. 149$$ is not worth now for this work.

My solution for fixing retouch4me
First, you need to delete whole plug-ins from your computer- they are located in two places
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Plug-ins
and
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Filters

After that, open regedit win+R and type regedit and find :
all retouch4me keys and remove them all, one by one

Restart your PC, and now you can install plugins.

Before opening PS, you must turn off your internet connection ( no Wi-Fi, no LAN etc)
Run your plugin, and that`s it.

After closing PS and turning on your internet retouch4me should work normally

This solution works for me every time.

The second problem is freezing the PS while Retouch4me is working:
Open notepad
Enter this script

Two numbers in this script must be less than 0, in this case, -10000 (can be -100, or -123456)

Save the file as a BAT file (ex. retouch.bat) and run it before you open Photoshop, and it must run in the background.

 

I sometimes have the second problem you mentioned (PS freezing), thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try.

 

The problem is in the Portrait Volumes Plug-in. You can skip this plug-in if you don't need it ^^ I`m using actions for all processes created by Unmesh from PiXimperfect so I don't have to use the retouch4me panel (a safer solution to not connect to retouch4me servers)

 

I see, it would be a pity to sacrifice it, it's between the ones I use the most

With this script, I can edit even 20 photos without any crush. I don`t use batch retouching, so I can`t tell if this will work for many photos at once
