Hello there, I would like to share a Video Converter that will shrink your files from GB to MB with the same quality.

eg. I am have recently download this tutorial and convert it.
    255i4gn.jpg

In this way, you will lessen your time in a jiffy when uploading/downloading video files, reduce intermittent connection, video cloggings, and also, to lessen your files on your physical/hard drives.

Btw, thanks too. @mattheyj is the one who teaches me on .TS files. Thank you from our video team.
.TS files will be much smaller with a certain loss of quality, so if you're looking to save space, go with .TS > .Transport Stream

FF-UP >> Never update it! Are we clear?

Please don't wanna be like me, cause I hit something out. While I'm converting, and now it's no longer working. It wants the new version, but we don't have it yet.

How does it work? Surely there must be a drop in quality when reducing a 3GB file to 240MB?
Could you maybe post full size screenshots from each file?

The problem is .ts files aren't as useful as mp4. They don't have the universal support like mp4. I personally would rather have h265 mp4. I can get similar quality and sometimes smaller size vs .ts while still having the support to play on various devices. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see why one would want a .ts file. Handbrake is free and can accomplish this task.

Actually TS is a container. The codec inside is what matters.
And I do not recommend this method, because you will lose quality.
And remember that tutorials with low quality are against the rules.

Right, the codec is still h264 inside those files. I will say that "low quality" is kind of an arbitrary to define something. I'd almost prefer to set some minimum requirements if people are compressing the video content. If there's no noticeable drop in quality and resolution, I'm fine passing them through a converter using a more efficient codec like h265 with a normal mp4 container. The problem using a .ts is they don't play nice with some devices and I don't want to convert a highly compressed file again. Sometimes you can re-package the enclosed audio/video codecs into an mp4, but I'm not finding anything that does it with a .ts.

This can be easily done in Tmpenc, I have encoded a large number of design bootcamp 70gb of ts videos into nearly 10gb or something

Please don’t use ts files though for sharing. The same quality can be achieved putting them in a standard mp4 container that are way more versatile.

Transcoding not needed because it takes time and its lossy! Rewraping into another container (.mp4) does the job. The problem is there is not a good wrapper on Windows. As a mac user im using MKV2MP4 or EditReady to rewrap .ts/.mts files.
